We are writing to express our utmost satisfaction with the 2 x VECTROCUT SONO cutting machines that we recently purchased from Ultracut Industries. As a company that values efficiency and precision, we have been thoroughly impressed with the performance and capabilities of these machines.

Blind Designs is a blind manufacturing company based in in Johannesburg South Africa. We had had accumulated multiple cutting tables over the years that supported a combination of Ultra Sonic, Crush and Blade Cutting. We realised that we had reached the threshold where X Y would be viable and streamline our production, however we had concerns about the cost as well as being able to support and maintain the machines in South Africa. We set about doing our research over a period and looked at multiple European and Australian options.

the company’s Scott Daly, the
Duoweld and Vectrocut Sono
have “transformed the way we
manufacture our awnings.”

Using the Duoweld has allowed
Daly to increase production speed
significantly, as he notes that “the
welding time is about three times
faster than my RF welder.”
Additionally, the Duoweld’s
design eliminates the risk of fire
and burning fabric, which can
be a concern with traditional RF
